Juan Manuel Cáceres

Juan Manuel is the managing partner and a founder of Cáceres Torres and heads the firm's corporate and business practice. He was admitted to the Bar Association of the Dominican Republic in 1998, beginning his professional practice in 1999.

His areas of concentration are commercial and corporate law, with a specialization in complex mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, consolidations and liquidations. Juan Manuel has also worked on project finance matters, including representing lenders, borrowers and construction companies on public and private infrastructure projects. He regularly assists domestic and multinational companies in the preparation and negotiation of various types of commercial contracts and agreements, including advising on and drafting contracts for the acquisition of real estate and other assets and businesses, the incorporation of companies, and counseling prospective business owners on the most advantageous structure for carrying out their projects and operations, partnership agreements and tax matters.

Juan Manuel's practice also includes real estate law, construction and foreign investment, determination of heirs, family law, taxation, immigration matters, intellectual property, divorces, and estate planning.
